Workshops
We organize some very interesting and special workshops during the training. These workshops are especially set up for Swan Heights in cooperation with our partners. All workshops are designed to deal with the difficulties of working in a small galley at 40,000 ft. Our trainers understand that this takes a completely different way of thinking and working.
We are happy to say that with our workshops you will be able to set up your new way of working in the air.
Some of the workshops are:
- *** Michelin Restaurant De Librije, where a special hospitality workshop will be given at their Atelier.
We will be having lunch at their restaurant to personally experience the service they are famous for. We are very proud to have the trainers from De Librije onboard.
- * Michelin Restaurant Callas. A white serene temple of perfect food, unique presentations and great hospitality. Chef-owner Marcel van der Kleijn and his wife Sharon van Tongeren will host a unique dinner where our trainees will learn about kitchen planning, presentation and impeccable service.
- Davidoff Café is one of the luxury items from the famous Davidoff brand. It offers exclusive high quality coffees that can only be bought in specialty stores.. Davidoff Café supplies coffee and tea only to selected high-end restaurants. In a special workshop we will guide you through the fantastic and special world of coffee, cafe Americano, a layered cafe latte, perfect cappuccino, strong and pure ristretto, to a smooth tasting macchiato.
Davidoff Café also offers a unique top range of hand-picked teas and will teach our trainees more on tea, the different tea cultures and serving methods.
- The Bols Bartending Academy will show you how you are able to offer the guests a variety of cocktails before dinner or at cocktail-hour. These cocktails are easy to make, even in the small galley of a private jet. They will also explain you the world's famous cocktails like: Mojito, Bloody Mary, Screwdriver, Cosmopolitain, Strawberry Daiquiri and the Bellini.
- During an afternoon of professional shopping in Amsterdams most exclusive shopping street, the PC Hooftstraat, we will introduce you in the world of ultimate luxury.
Our partners such as Cartier, LVMH, Tumi, Profuomo will learn you all details about taking care of their luxury shopping items. What to do with a million dollar necklace and how to deal with silk ties…. No more secrets for you after this afternoon.
- One of the most important items for your guest onboard is definitely water.
But what if your guest have their preferences in special water. During a workshop and water tasting organized with a special waterstore, you'll gain all the knowledge that is necessary to find similar waters all over the world for your guests.
